Roquebrune

The beautiful spacious villa is situated in Roquebrune Cap Martin and was built in 1902 by the Wright brothers. Céline’s one part of art collection is in the villa, where she often invites friends-artists and collectors.

She also created an artist residence in the Villa Auziera nearby the Villa La Quieta. Winston Churchill used to spend lots of time in the Villa Auziera, because his sister lived there. He mostly spent his time paiting, because he considered the light of French Riviera the best.

In the Villa La Quieta Céline collects a mix of Italian modern design and contemporary design. Just to make some examples of her artpieces : In the entrance of the villa there is the Basoli table of Campana Brothers, the Roccoco Armchair and the Settimio cabinet, which is also part of collection of the Musée des Arts décoratifs de Paris. In the living room Johanna Grawunder created the Magic Mirror Lamp over fireplace and the glass custom table. Living room also contains chairs, that are the super leggere of Giò Ponti, the sofa of Caccia Dominioni, the armchair Aligator of Campana brothers, the lighting of Max Ingrand for Fontana arte. The main coffee table is the Artefact of Martin Szekeley. A console as well as a big drawing on the wall are from artist Enzo Cucchi. In the bedroom of her daughter are the Teddy bear armchair of Campana brothers and the Ripado cabinet of Campana brothers.
